opened up the 2009 season today under the direction of first year

2-0. Salve Regina freshman forward Kelly Burke (Georgetown,
Mass.) scored her second goal in as many games to propel Salve
Regina to the victory in its home opener.

stopped three shots to pick up her first victory of the season,
while Framingham State junior Allesha Kenyon (Westford, Mass.) made

shots, all from sophomore defender Kayleigh Force (Leominster,
Mass).
Andrea Michel (Yarmouth, ME) added an insurance goal for the
Seahawks with six minutes remaining on a penalty corner initiated
by Brittany Lopes (Lexington, Mass.). Campagna assisted on both
scores.

on Tuesday and returns to action on Saturday when they host Eastern
Connecticut State at noon.
